Water Is The Solution

Do You Drink Enough Water?

Water, water, everywhere,
Nor any drop to drink.

With water so plentiful around us, usually people question only the quality of water. This Section of the web site addresses a different subject -- the quantity of water you drink.

You’ll find thousands of pages in books, and hundreds of hours on television about the dangers of chlorine in our water, and the evils of fluoridation. There are, indeed, cancer-causing agents added to our water by those who care less for your health than for their profit. In the quote above, Water, Water Everywhere, the salty ocean is seen as a vast expanse of undrinkable water. Today, we are dying of thirst for a different reason -- we lack the will to drink in the midst of plenty!

You might ask, Why is there a Section of this Web Site about the importance of drinking more water?

The answer is astounding! You can prevent, even reverse, symptoms of heart disease with water alone! You can greatly improve the health of your skin -- simply by drinking water -- MORE than you are now drinking.

In fact, the number one improvement you can make in the care of your skin is DRINK MORE WATER!

What kind of water?

That is the wrong question.

MORE water is much more important to you than WHAT water!

That is such a preposterous statement that I’ve waited until this page to make it. I hope you’ve read enough, so far, to realize that this web site can save your life and is important to the health condition of America. Even if you don’t read this Section you have more of the truth about skin than has ever appeared in any other place.

Now, the material in this Section will startle you -- but, I ask you to read on and then give my suggestions a try. It won’t cost you anything and I know, from personal experience, that you will achieve amazing health benefits from applying the simple suggestions in this Section.

You need not worry much about the quality of water until you are drinking as much as your skin and whole body need to stay healthy. You are probably not drinking that quantity now and this Section will hopefully convince you to change your behavior in the direction of drinking far more water than you have ever thought was necessary. You might want to ask yourself some questions about your own water drinking.

If you would like to participate in a test, click on this link. Answer the survey questions there for yourself. Quick do that before you read the "answers" next below!

You won’t, if you are doing this by yourself, have a chance to compare your answers to the answers of others, but you can do that comparison later by asking others those same survey questions. (The link gives you a pop-up window. Close it when you are done and you are still here on this page.)

Let’s consider a glass of water to be about eight ounces. It should be considered, also, plain! No flavorings, no fizzy bubbles. It could be from the tap, bottle or through a filter. But, it is plain water and you drink it down, in sips or large swallows -- but down it goes -- plain water -- with or without food.

There will be about 10% who never drink a plain glass of water during the day. They have justifications, such as the orange juice, coffee or milk they drink. There will be about 30% who drink one or two glasses per day .There will be about 40% who drink from three to five glasses per day .There will be about 15% who drink six to nine glasses per day.

There will be about 5% who drink ten or more glasses per day.

If I did a more detailed survey, staying only with groups, not individuals, I’d find that those groups with individuals drinking the most water have the least illness and disease, even taking into account age and weight differences. I’d also find that those drinking the most water are least likely to be overweight. I’d find that those drinking the least amount of water have, almost every member of the group, some current medical problem for which they are currently taking a prescription drug, or some over-the-counter preparation. In short, I’d find that you have, within yourselves, all the observational data to figure out that water is more important than you thought, and that you should, almost all of you, be drinking far more water, daily, than you are. Let’s see!

The MOST important thing you can do for the health of your skin is to drink MORE water -- any type of water is better than not enough of any water. WHEN you are drinking enough water? Then you can start figuring about WHAT type of water is best.

This is a Section about water -- and why, you say, would a Section like this be of any importance to me?

After all, I get all the water I need when I drink Coke and coffee -- besides, the tap water is so bad for you that it’s better to drink your water in other forms -- sodas and beer. (See the first hint of the falsity of this data by clicking HERE for the pop-up window.)

In this Section I’m going to try to convince you to greatly change your water consumption habits. I’m going to promise you health benefits from a change in your water consumption -- health benefits which you may not believe, at first. Whether you believe them or not, my aim is only that you will try them, and then prove to yourself that what I say and write here is true for you!

YOUR SKIN will become more healthy.

For the moment I’m going to relate drinking more water to improving the health of your skin and heart. But, you’ll soon see that water can do far more for you.

No matter how important this new data about water is, the senior question is whether you will accept the data about to be provided and act on it. If your conditions of health do not change, if your behavior about water consumption does not change, then nothing in this Section will have been of any value.

The data presented in this Section will not be any more real or unreal, true or not true, for my spending more or less space and time on the many technical aspects of the subject for this Section! The proof of the validity of this data lies within your body -- not at the library doing more reading and research.

    • Drink More Of It! You could drink two gallons per day and not hurt yourself at all.
    • You could drink two quarts before breakfast and find amazing improvements in your diet -- automatically. Read on!

This Section contains a brief glimpse into a world you’ve probably never heard of -- a world of wonder and miracles. Don’t reject the miracles just because they seem so simple. Sometimes great things come in simple forms!

Like a large and rich meal, you should try this information and suggestion a little bit at a time. Get used to a small part of this concept -- try it. Then go for some more. Don’t drink two gallons the first day, but start with some quantity higher than you currently drink, and gradually increase.

Nibble a bit at the edges of the most astounding data you have ever heard about how to improve your health.

I’m going to explain some of the details of this world, but it is far more important for me to convince you to try living in this world for a while -- long enough to experience some of the fantastic gains. Then I predict you will become so interested that you will demand of yourself the time and energy to learn more and to help spread the message. This Section is divided into nine parts. Many of these parts start with a story about a world different from your own -- in many cases the worlds are made up of shadows.

Life Flow
One

The data about water -- the remarkable data you are about to learn -- is too startling to spend all the time presenting the data itself. The far more important subject to address is the more general one of "why people reject new data" and why "the truth is so hard to sell."

These questions are so important relative to this subject of water, as well as heart disease, that I cannot help you understand the importance of water and change your behavior relative to water without spending a relatively large amount of time developing with you an entire concept of information acceptance and rejection.

My final comment on motivation to improve your water intake starts on page *. On that page I address the question: Why, when I know something is good for me, don’t I do it? If you agree with me about the data presented on this web site, but don’t change your behavior, then you might have some mental barriers getting in your way.

Health, really, is a mental phenomenon, when you think of it. You are responsible for the health condition you are in -- every inch and pound of it. It is YOU who decide to drink the Coke and eat the doughnut. It is you who watches TV and drives to the store instead of walking.

AND, it is you who changes these considerations. It is YOU who decides to stop eating sugar and start exercising. It will be YOU who decides to drink more water. There is no one else to blame or to thank. If you go out as a diseased blimp, or if you die peacefully in your sleep at an old age, it will all be because of your decisions and your actions.

I can give you guidance, and even nudge you, but you will decide, and your actions along the line of health improvement all will depend on your mental activity -- your thinking about health decisions, and then your following through with a mental decision so that it comes to pass in the physical universe. Water offers you good health in ways you probably didn’t know about, but all that good health must start in your mind, and with your action.

Study And Enjoy.
